Between working, takin' care of business, and agonizing over that lost bird, I have managed to spend a few hours at my art table creating some art images.
5 x 7 floral, pen and ink and pastel on bristol
5 x 5 mixed media collage "Generations Three" They all had different shades of gold hair, but when I put paper glaze on it, the hair...um....tarnished!
5 x 7 parrot, Prismacolor markers on Bristol
A 22 x 28 acrylic on canvas I have been working on for awhile. Very preliminary. Who knows when it will be finished or what it might turn out to be at that time. With my history of growing bored with something, and slathering things with Gesso, it might even become.....a polar bear! All of these are just for fun and relaxation, and I suppose will go into the closet, or maybe (except the canvas) into my art journal, so a year or two from now I can remember what I was doing this date.
HAVE A CREATIVE DAY!!!

You've been BUSY!! You're showing such a variety of styles and mediums that I'm not sure which one I like best. The acrylic painting looks interesting....but I know what you mean about getting bored with something and then just covering it with gesso!
O! I LOVE the parrot and all the others are pretty swell too!!! Yes, I've been busy creating too, but the ridding out is going slow!!! HOPE Bobby is found pretty soon!!! Do YOU think he will ever come back to his original home???!!
Response to Turquoise Cro: No CRO, it isn't likely. He's heading in the total opposite direction now, and is many miles away. The longer he stays free, the stronger and more confident he should become. It's just his tether that really bothers me; I'm afraid it might get caught on something.
Judie I love all your art! In fact I had the pieces that you sent me out today and it made me smile just looking at them!Because of my darn cast and NOT being able to drive I am unable to go out searching for frames..so I wait and admire my own parrots!
Thank you for the update on Bobby..still praying for his safety.
Love the photo of your pets on the right sidbar!! hugs NG xo
It certainly looks like you had a creative day.
Judie,

Generations Three is great expecially with tarnished hair!

Go Judie, go - you've been creating up a storm over there. Enjoy!~xo

Hi Judie,
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Your art is beautiful. I am taking a water colour class right now and love it. I should have done this a long time ago. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with us.
P.S. I am praying that Bobby is returned to his home safe and sound.
