Although I have done a little blog visiting, I haven't posted for almost a week, for several reasons. One, I've been working some extra time, two I've been trying to paint,
and three, this dang computer is SO SLOW I GET FRUSTRATED AND DON'T EVEN WANT TO USE IT!!! I couldn't imagine why it was so slow. DH and I have both been threatening to throw it out the window. We almost went out and bought a new one. Even went and looked at them! Today while I was at work (yes, work on Saturday, ick!) DH decided to clean inside the computer. Of course it was filled with teeny,tiny feathers from the keets, but the main thing was he discovered....IN THE PHONE LINE...a nick! A cut! A slice! Right down to and frayed in the copper wire! NO WONDER MY COMPUTER WAS SO SLOOOOOOOW! IT WASN'T GETTING A GOOD CONNECTION. Now just how to you think that happened
??? Here's a clue!
GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! But I'm ever so grateful it wasn't the regular power wire. Thank you Gods and Goddesses and Angels for watching over my precious little blue and gold baby!

Oh MY! That will do it, I guess! You have all sorts of problems because of You-Know-Who....(lol) But...he is forgiven, isn't he? Glad your DH found the problem and could correct it....It's so nice to have a man around the house! (Do you know that Old Song??? It's a goodie.)

Yep - I've seen what kitty claws can do - I can just imagine what birdie beaks can do - a real number on your connection - thank heavens they're watched over and don't attack the wrong line so their number comes up!

That is too funny! I once had a Siamese cat that chewed through my phone line! The repairman said it was a miracle the cat wasn't shocked. I'm glad your baby is ok.
