Five WEIRD Things About Me
1. I don't do alcohol. Maybe a glass of wine at dinner or something like that tho I really like the taste of champagne. I can't stand to be around loud, boisterous drunks. I've been a victim of a violent alcoholic abuser, and my dh has a hidden head injury because of a drunk driver. I can't find sympathy for alcoholism. Life is choices, and if you made the choice to do it, you can make the choice to stop. Be tough and love yourself.
2. I can and will easly cry and feel pain in my heart if I see an animal hurt.
3. I am afraid of trains. They are BIG and POWERFUL and I suppose I have seen too many TV movies of the girl being tied to the tracks. Eeeek! I have never been on a train. BUT, I would like to ride the Orient Express!
4. I have a bit of a psychological germ phobia. I try not to shake hands (Hello, Howie!). When I go into a public place, I push the door open with the back of my hand or if I have to pull it I use my pinky finger. In restaurants, I pick up the condiments with a napkin. If I hear someone behind me sneeze or cough, I scoot away really fast and hold my breath til I feel "safe".
5. I totally adore Marc Anthony's singing and whomever plays the guitar on his CD's. I love Salsa music. I'm a romantic at heart. Once many years ago I had a Latin Lover. HeeHeeHee for real! Oh my! Thats a whole nother story! ;)
Now that you see I am a total Freakazoid, I won't tag anyone. If you want to tell us all 5 weirdo things about YOU, please FEEL FREE!!! Come on, if I had to do it, you should too. Take the challenge!

I, for one, don't think these sound weird at all. I'm right there with you on #1, #2 and #4 but having had a grandpa who worked for the railroad I don't fear trains....and I have never had a Latin lover....Thai, Jordanian, and a few others though!! But as you said, that's another story!
Oh this was fun, not weird at all!! Do you like planes? Latin lover...la la!
I'm glad you shared!! :)
You aren't THAT weird! ha! Did you see the new movie with Anthony and Jen about the famous Latin dancer? I can't remember the name. I haven't seen it. My ex husband was a big Alcoholic and still is ..so they say. Yuck. ..I am just like you when it comes to animals.!
Great meme! Love hearing and learning about my blog friends.
Have a wonderful week.
Happy Painting,
Sandy :)
I have already been tagged with the weird meme so I think I'll do a post on it tonight. Yeah, I feel guilty if I don't follow up too.
I love your pelicans. I love the fact that they are all the same colors but all different, and the pattern they all make together is wonderful.
Julie
Aloha Judie..
I am the same about drinking. I do drink, but only at home or with a designated driver.
In 2000 I was hit by a drunk driver..
I'm guessing the culprit is Ms. wee..lol..
Peace, Kai xx
Latin lover, eh? Doesn't sound weird to me - just very intriguing! The rest of 'em sound pretty normal to me, too - but then maybe I'm too weird to tell the difference, lol...
Nothing weird about not drinking. My Methodist grandmother took the pledge at 18 and never drank. i guess I follow that tradition most of the time. I like white wine in my cheese fondue.
I wouldn't mind a Latin Lover. Iberian love is close. I dated a Spanish girl for a while who spoke little English. She couldn't get past the idea of dating the "priest'.
Enough of this before I give away my weird life experiences.
Not too weird. I drink rarely.
I like reading meme's(not doing them)yours was interesting.
Alcohol in modertion definately.
Are you refering to Howie Mandel or Howard Hughes?:-)Personally germs don't bother me....I'm surrounded by them and have built up resistence.Tell us more about the Latin Lover senora...
Love it! I too am a germ phobe. I avoid touching anything and also hold my breath till I think it is safe, too funny!
Feel the same about the drinking too....have alcoholics in the family and it sure keeps us sober!
Doing a Meme can be a little unnerving until you get into it!
I'm becoming a bit more germ conscious lately...partly due to "Madison Avenue" marketing of all the new wipes etc.! Sounds like you have had an interesting life!
