UPDATE ON BOBBY: Eight days out and Bobby is still flying. He seems to be heading east. The area he was last spotted has a woodsy section. Apparently he is finding food. For those of you interested in keeping up with this little fellow, you can follow it at http://www.seabirdsanctuary.org/
I'm still hoping and praying he gets captured because of his poor eyesight and his straps. That kind of makes him a "target" in the bird world. But wow, I bet he is loving this taste of freedom.....you think?

Judie,
What an interesting story. Great bird sanctuary website. Wonder if he could make it in the wild...being blind and all? Hope he is safe.
Oh I think maybe he is liking that freedom for a while...but nothing like the security of a home. This is a wonderful story Judie..thanks for sharing it.
Freedom is what we all aim for! I do hope he is going to be allright, but I can't help but think that no matter what happens....you are right. He is loving his freedom.
Judie i have been thinking about little bird, and hoping he is ok and found and if not to have a ball while he is out. I want him safe so bad its not funny.
You are a gentle spirit. Animals hold a really special place in our hearts.
