SOMETHING NEW, AND SOMETHING FINAL

TUESDAY: Notes about the new banner......I had this done a few years ago by a Korean artist, Moonsan Hong. In this art, the letters have meaning. For example, in the practice of oriental symbolism,
flying birds represent prosperity;
sitting birds represent happiness;
the sun indicates fame;
bamboo means honesty;
sailboats represent hope;
butterflies indicate love;
fish means good luck;
shrimps indicate talent;
flowers mean beauty;
flowers on a rainbow indicate family unit,
etc.
It seems my name in oriental symbols means a lot of things. Whatever they are, the art is beautiful!

The card below is my final art for the HEALING CARD in Mother Henna's Inspiration and Healing Deck. The previous post of the girl dancing with her muse is the final drawing for the Inspiration card.

A Wisdom From Coleman Barks: This is the material plane
and every outward thing we do is inner work......

Judie, I have a airbrush painted sign like that with DAKOTA's name on it! My friend Meko brought it back from one of his trips for me. How cool to see your name like that, too!

And I looooooooooooooove the healing card -- wonderful! I'll update the link in the deck swap post now. I am thrilled to see birds in both your cards -- it feeeeels right!

Lots of miracles to you!

The banner is tooooo cool, and the last card you did is my favorite.
I'm about an hour away from Jackson
ville, which pair of shoes do you want me to pick up for you when I get mine? UNBELIEVEABLE!! I just bought a new pair at Cato's and I pondered for a long time about spending another $14.95 on a purse to match, but the "shopaholic" in me won out. BE BLESSED :-)

You know a similar thing to your painted shoe story happened to my sister a few years ago. She, being a little bit of a hippy, decided she was going to wear gumboots all the time, as a fashion statement. And then, what do you know, a year later you could find "fashion" Gumboots, printed with flowers etc for incredulous sums of money in the shops!

Just thought, I think gumboot is a local word, and you wont know what it is! I dont know what you call them, rubber boots for gardening....
