IT'S THE SEASON!

It's the season.....for arts and crafts festivals around here. And finally...FINALLY...I am finished with the one we have at work annually and I can breathe in my own space again...and find some blogging time hopefully! It's been a very busy blogging break! The banner above is a photo of Beauty and the Beach Art Festival, Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. I admit, I did put it together and am proud to say it was a great success, and I'm so glad it's over for this year. It was a LOT of work and I really don't want to do this every year..nope...all those different personalities (80 artists and crafters) wanting special this and special that!

Even though I've been very busy working, still...I found a little time for art. You HAVE to have it in your life, right? These are a couple of things I've worked on. All small. All to relax and soothe my soul.

WATERCOLOR AND ACRYLIC - SIGNS OF SPRING

PENCIL - HOMELESS

SKETCH DONE IN A RESTAURANT - PASTEL COLOR ADDED LATER

WATERCOLOR AND GOLD PAINT PEN

WATERCOLOR AND SCRIBBLES

These are really wonderful, Judie....I love that sketch of the Homeless man and the restaurant one, too...!

Putting together that show has to be a monumental job! Particularly satusfying all the differebt artists participating---I do not envy you that task...lol!
But BRAVO to you, my dear. I love the Header picture!

Looks like you found lots of time for creating - or I am just a slow creator! Great pieces. The daisy and the homeless are my favorites.

Nice group of pictures. I liked your quote as well. My grandmother kept a parrot that talked Finnish.

Wow, that was a big accomplishment to pull together so many differing personalities for a successful festival.

Enjoyed your "little" pieces of art.

You know, of course that I love the Cats on the Couch.

I know your life is very full, but I have challenged you to do a very constructive MeMe. You can pick it up on my blog. It is the best MeMe I've ever seen. Have fun with it. Even if you don't post it, give it a try. It is great.

I could be the model of your "Homeless" drawing. I find it haunting as I live in fear of someday becoming a homeless person.

These are all great....but I especially like the homeless man. It's so simple yet says so much with his eyes.

I've missed seeing your art. Hopefully I'm back to myself again and can catch up with everyone.

Wow Judie, I had no idea you were putting something like that together. You're amazing. We toy, from time to time, with the idea of putting a little, teensy, tiny arts and crafts fair together here in our neighborhood and I think THAT sounds like a lot of work. Boy! I love the name Beauty and the Beach. ha! Your art is phenomenal, too. You always blow me away.

Glad your art fair went well. It'll be at least another month before we have any outdoor festivals here, but we are seeing the signs of spring finally. Your daisy with the ladybug spring art is so bright and cheerful. I just love it.
